The course is in great shape for this time of year, poor putting can not be blamed on the greens. Go Spurs!
WAYNE STRINGER   (2014-04-24 19:24:36)
Course was sanded and overseeded. Tough conditions, but is going to be in great shape.
Mike Horridge   (2012-10-24 18:59:15)
Nice course, just not for beginners. Too many boulders and narrow fairways
Karen Taylor   (2010-05-16 12:46:32)
Cart path only when it's wet due to being in a flood plain. Makes you hit the ball in the correct place off the tee or you pay the price.
Jack Oehme   (2010-04-22 11:43:11)
Played on Thursday, October 17. Marshall for the day (yellow shirt) must have had a bad morning. Was rude and had a serious "tude." Great day for golf except they were overseeding and there was a lot of 'fluff' on the greens and it was cart path only.
Mike Horridge   (2002-10-21 13:25:27)
Greens in poor condition coming of the incredible condition this winter. Guess we are spoiled.
This course eats my lunch. If you aren't in the fairway, you are in serious trouble. Recoveries are very difficult to almost impossible for a par.
If you play the gold or back tees, expect to shoot at least 5-10 strokes more than your normal score. Senior tees are reasonable, but I don't believe the Seniors (blue) tees and the gold tees should have the same slope.

Course was in great Shape. Greens were pristine. Enjoyed the course.
J Howitt   (2002-03-23 23:25:25)
Course was in beautiful shape, especially the greens.
Ed Dohoney   (2002-03-15 15:19:19)
This is a course that can close in on you quickly if your driver is not very precise. The course is in excellent shape (2/2002).
Mike Horridge   (2002-02-27 18:24:16)
Unfortunately for me, if you wander off the fairways at Silverhorn, there is little chance for recovery due to the thick trees and undergrowth outside the fairways. There is no "rough" per se. Greens were the slowest I have played in sometime, but in good shape.
Mike Horridge   (2002-02-01 17:15:04)
Very tight course, but was hitting driver well so was able to make the green on several of the longer par 4's that I normally would be short on. The fairways and greens were excellent, despite the slowness of the greens. We teed off at 8:15 am on May 11. They played a 90 degree rule.
